We perform office echocardiograms and stress tests followed by outpatient cardiac CT to rule out cardiac disease. Our approach has decreased coronary-related hospitalizations. Patients with CAD are referred to cardiac specialists for monitoring and treatment in collaboration with our team of doctors.
We conduct risk evaluation with carotid US, home blood pressure monitoring to reduce negative outcomes. This, coupled with aggressive blood pressure management, cholesterol evaluation, and timely treatment, drastically reduces poor outcomes over time.
We recognize the need to monitor patients genetically predisposed to aneurysms of the aorta. Our cardiac screening evaluations can often detect aortic aneurysms. We perform in-house monitoring of such aneurysms with appropriate referral strategies to assist with intervention as needed.
We also offer yearly lower extremity ultrasound screening for peripheral arterial disease in the lower extremities. We also perform abdominal and thyroid ultrasounds to rule out liver pathology and investigate abnormal lab testing.
